At the age of 60-something, I finally decided to make a T-shirt that I really want to wear.
It is a little different from the flashy and trendy T-shirts I used to wear when I was younger. It is modest but has a core“ and ”simple but classy"-this is the kind of T-shirt I was looking for now.
What I was most particular about in the design of the T-shirt was that the back of the collar was raised just a little higher.
As we get older, sweat stains become an issue, especially on the back of the neck. Especially the back of the neck.
When you get on a train or lean back in a chair, you suddenly worry about what other people will think.
So, why not cover it up with a collar" - this idea was the starting point for the creation of this T-shirt.
I have been in the apparel industry for many years, and I have also worked on many neckties and other miscellaneous items.
However, when it comes to T-shirts, I don't want them to be "just casual.
I want my designs to ooze a sense of everyday beauty and an attitude of careful living.
Take, for example, the way the seams are drawn.
A slight bump or shadow can change the appearance of a garment.
For example, the choice of color.
We want to choose colors that are not too flashy, but blend well with gray hair and aged skin.
It is not just something to wear, but a way of “dressing” and a tool to adjust oneself.
This T-shirt was born from such feelings.
There is no flashy statement. However, we would be happy if, every time you wear it, you feel that your posture is somehow better today.
This is because it is your beauty that is transmitted from your back.
I would like to continue to shape only what I am truly satisfied with, little by little.
Fashion is not just for youth.
I believe that there is a piece that suits you only as you age.
